Contact Us

info@compoundcats.com

  • All the Compound Cat volunteers can be reached via email:
info@compoundcats.com your email will then be directed to the most appropiate person.
  • Please be patient for your reply.
  • We don't have an office or paid staff, and most of us have other jobs too, so do use the resources here to try to answer your questions first.
  • If you wish to speak to one of us, please address your question / concern via email first, and supply your contact details and appropriate times, so we can call you back.
  • If we can't help with your questions / comments directly, we may be able to forward your query to another person or organisation that can.

  • Website errors? I'm not a web designer - I'm a vet - so if you notice any mistakes, or think we can improve our home-made site, please let us know.

We are not a rescue centre for strays.

The main purpose of this project is to reduce the number of unwanted cats because we already have so many cats without homes.
You are welcome to send us details and a photo of your pet but we can't offer any guarantee we'll be able to help. Unfortunately we don't have a shelter or kennel facilities to take them ourselves.
You could also try:
  • re-homing notices with their photos for compound notice boards.
  • contact your local vet to see if they know clients who may be able to help.
  • Saudi PAWS group at www.saudipaws.com
  • The Yahoo group Saudi Pets also keeps a list of pets for adoption.

If you absolutely can not find a new home for your pet, discuss humane euthanasia with us or your own vet.
If you pet has had a good life don't turn your back of him / her.

Abandonment is NOT Acceptable
Many abandoned pets die slowly on our streets or fall victim to Pest Control.
PLEASE be responsible for your animals.

Feline Advisory Bureau
www.fabcats.org
Leaders in feline medicine and care. This UK charity is dedicated to promoting the health and welfare of cats through improving our knowledge, of felines. Extremely useful for veterinarians but the web site also provides some excellent medical information for cat owners.

Alley Cat Allies
www.alleycat.org
Alley Cat Alleys is probably the best site for references on feral cat management and the T.N.R. scheme. It has one of the most comprehensive lists of articles (and external links), covering everything from handling feral cats for the beginner, to providing advice for veterinarians. Most of the information I would have liked to put on this site is already there - so please, take advantage of their expertise and support their cause. In particular check out their Recourses Page and the link to all their fact sheets and articles.

Paw prints and Purrs
www.sniksnak.com
A great data base on feline medical health, for the cat owner. The cat health topics cover nearly every ailment known to cats and are easy to read for cat owners without medical training. Other sections in the site provide further useful information on running the T.N.R./ programme and management of feral colonies.

SNIP International
www.snip-international.org
SNIP International is a UK registered charity dedicated to improving standards of animal welfare around the world. SNIP promotes neutering programmes, in particular for feral cats, for improving their heath and for humane population control. They have some excellect information to help those new to T.N.R. and some interesting information on young age neutering.

Saudi Pets
groups.yahoo.com/group/saudipets/
This group is intended to build a community of like-minded animal lovers and pet owners. We hope to discuss, organize, plan, and most importantly, contribute to the welfare of pet animals - be it cats, dogs, birds, hamsters etc. You can join to find a pet, post a pet, or to foster a pet. Everybody is invited. It's a good place for pet lovers in KSA to discuss our common interest.
